The Bias Inside Us | Media and Messaging: Who Controls the Narrative?
This program explores the powerful role media plays in shaping perception, reinforcing bias, and influencing how stories are told and understood. Media and Messaging: Who Controls the Narrative? invites participants to examine how images, language, and storytelling across news, entertainment, and digital platforms contribute to the formation of stereotypes and public opinion.
Through guided discussion and interactive engagement, audiences will consider who has the power to tell stories, whose voices are amplified, and whose perspectives are often left out. Participants will be encouraged to think critically about the media they consume and to reflect on how narratives can both challenge and perpetuate bias.
As part of The Bias Inside Us, this program creates space for honest conversation and deeper awareness, equipping participants with tools to question dominant narratives and imagine more inclusive and equitable ways of telling stories.
