Thank you for inquiring about volunteering at The Wright Museum! This is a great opportunity to learn about our mission, meet fellow volunteers, and discover how you can make a difference this season and beyond! We’ll cover everything you need to know to get started and build community along the way.

Our next Volunteer Orientation is virtual and is on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 6pm. Attending orientation is required to become registered as a volunteer.

Volunteer Application

General Volunteer Requirements

  • 18+ years old (limited high school service projects available)
  • Must attend volunteer orientation - date TBA
  • Volunteer at least (1) full hour shift
  • Consent to a background check

GM Theatre Usher Program

The GM Theatre Usher Program is vital to ensuring an exceptional experience for our visitors and supporting our cultural and educational programs.

As an usher, you'll ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our visitors by welcoming them, guiding them to their seats, and assisting with any needs throughout their time at The Wright. Possible usher roles include:

  • Greeter
  • Theatre door usher
  • Seating guide
  • Floating usher
  • Coat check manager

Usher Requirements

  • Enthusiasm
  • Can commit to 3+ shifts during the season
  • Likes engaging with community and being a part of a team
  • Attends Usher Training - date TBA
