Third Thursday: Permission Slip to Breathe

Thursday, March 19th | 6 PM - 7 PM Mix & Mingle | 7 PM - 9 PM Program

This Women’s History Month gathering offers a powerful invitation to pause, restore, and reconnect. Centered on rest, resilience, and collective power, the evening recognizes the profound ways Black women sustain families, lead movements, shape culture, and transform communities. While honoring this legacy of strength and forward motion, the program also affirms a vital truth: restoration, self-care, and the prioritization of personal well-being are not luxuries reserved for moments of crisis, but essential practices for living fully and sustaining the work of change.

Through performance, reflection, and shared experience, guests are welcomed into a sacred space of renewal, affirmation, and forward movement. The program encourages participants to breathe deeply, release burdens, and embrace joy, imagination, and collective healing. Confirmed artists include Angela Davis and Johdi, whose voices and artistry illuminate the strength, vision, and enduring impact of Black women while inspiring reflection, empowerment, and connection.
