Roots & Futures Youth Summit 2026
Roots & Futures Youth Summit 2026 will amplify youth voice, engage young people with the Wright Museum's collection, and spark curiosity and wonder about African American history. Through immersive artistic experiences, youth will imagine Detroit one hundred years into the future and interrogate how the legacy they inherit can shape the city they leave behind.
Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Open to youth ages 13-18.
Lunch, snacks and breaks are included.
Parents should be prepared to pick students up at 5pm sharp. This is a FREE offering, however, registration through the form linked above is required.
