Celebrate Juneteenth 2026 at the Wright

Join us for a powerful and reflective Juneteenth celebration honoring freedom, resilience, and the enduring legacy of Black history and culture. Commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, this dynamic day of programming invites the community to gather in remembrance, reflection, and celebration.

Through a rich blend of live performances, storytelling, film, music, and community dialogue, Juneteenth at the Wright offers an immersive experience that connects past to present. Guests will engage with artists, historians, and cultural practitioners whose work illuminates the ongoing journey toward freedom and justice.

This celebration is both a tribute and a call to action, centering the voices, creativity, and contributions of Black communities while creating space for learning, connection, and collective joy. Families, friends, and visitors of all ages are welcome to experience a day that honors history while inspiring the future.

See below for our full day of programming for all ages.

Juneteenth represents liberation and it belongs to us. It is a constant reminder that Black freedom is predestined, that only we can tell our stories and that there is no freedom, without Black freedom.
