Building Literacy, Building Futures

This important literacy program brings together the Dominican Literacy Center (DLC) and author LaVar Drummond to create a welcoming and supportive space for individuals to strengthen their reading, writing, and communication skills.
The event will equally highlight the work and contributions of both DLC and Mr. Drummond. Through their shared commitment to literacy, education, and personal growth, the program will inspire participants to build confidence, embrace lifelong learning, and develop skills that can support their personal, educational, and professional futures.
Together, the Dominican Literacy Center and LaVar Drummond will offer an engaging and meaningful experience that emphasizes the transformative power of literacy and the importance of providing individuals with the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need to succeed.
