The Charles H. Wright Museum Presents The 2025 Divine Nine Competitive Membership Drive Member Exclusive Event

WHO:        
The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (The Wright) invites members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council—also known as the Divine Nine—to participate in its fourth annual Divine Nine Competitive Membership Drive. This initiative aims to strengthen connections with individuals and organizations rooted in the legacy of resilience, leadership, and achievement that defines the Black experience.
Through this campaign, The Wright encourages support by investing in an annual Divine Nine Membership, which includes access to more than 1,200 museums, botanical gardens, science centers, zoos, and cultural institutions nationwide.

WHAT:
About the Divine Nine Membership
An exclusive membership for Divine Nine members across the country. Participants can choose from two membership options:

  • National Divine Nine Individual Membership – $125
  • National Divine Nine Family Membership – $150

Both levels include all Contributor Level benefits, such as:

  • Free unlimited museum admission (Individual: one adult; Family: two adults and up to four children under 18)=
  • Free admission to over 1,200 partner museums and cultural institutions across North America
  • Discounts at The Wright Museum Store
  • Invitations to exclusive members-only events and other perks

WHEN:
The competition runs from November 1 through December 31, 2025.
The winning fraternity or sorority will be announced during The Wright’s MLK Day Celebration on Monday, January 19, 2026.

The 2025 Divine Nine Competitive Membership Drive celebrates the enduring legacy and community impact of the Divine Nine organizations, which include:

  • Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (ΑΦΑ)
  • Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA)
  • Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (ΚΑΨ)
  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (ΔΣΘ)
  • Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (ΩΨΦ)
  • Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (ΦΒΣ)
  • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. (ΖΦΒ)
  • Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. (ΣΓΡ)

About the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History 
The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History was founded in 1965 and is in the heart of Midtown Detroit’s Cultural Center. The Wright Museum’s mission is to open minds and change lives through the exploration and celebration of African American history and culture. And Still We Rise: Our Journey Through African American History and Culture — the museum’s 22,000 square foot, immersive core exhibit — is one of the largest, single exhibitions surveying the history of African Americans. The Wright Museum houses over 35,000 artifacts and archival materials and offers more than 300 public programs and events annually.
