The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is hosting our Juneteenth Celebration on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and we would love your support!
Please note that volunteering for Juneteenth requires volunteers to be 18+, attendance at a Volunteer Orientation, as well as consenting to a background check.
Required Orientation
There are two options for attending the required Volunteer Orientation, and the sessions can be attended either online or in person on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
- June 6 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
June 6 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Juneteenth Shifts
On Juneteenth (6/19) there will be two different shifts to choose from: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. We welcome community and service-minded groups who would like to give back and engage in group volunteer opportunities.
