Overview

Reservations for guided or self-guided tours are required and should be made at least two weeks in advance of your anticipated arrival date.  Parties of all sizes are welcome to book group tours, but discounted admission rates will only be available to groups of fifteen people or more.  

Regular admission rates apply to parties of less than fifteen people.

Parties of fifteen people or more are eligible for discounted admission rates. Please note that any other museum discounts are not applicable toward group admission prices.

  • Adults, age 18-61 - $14
  • Seniors, age 62 and over - $11
  • Children, age 6-17 - $11
  • Museum Members and children under 5 - FREE

COVID-19 Protocols
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the Museum.
  • Wearing a mask is recommended, but not required.
  • We encourage all visitors to maintain appropriate social distancing from other visitors and staff.
  • If you are feeling unwell, please make arrangements to visit at another time.

Chaperone Policy for School Groups

For school groups, one chaperone is required for every ten students. Each chaperone will be admitted to the museum free of charge.

For groups of students with special needs, one chaperone is required for every five students; one chaperone per guest is required if those students require wheelchairs.

Chaperones must remain with their group at all times.

Check-In Policy

Please arrive in The Wright's Rotunda area approximately fifteen minutes before your scheduled tour time. Groups that arrive more than fifteen minutes after their scheduled tour time are subject to cancellation.  

In order to check in, you must provide the following to the museum's staff:  

  • Your group tour confirmation letter or QR code
  • An accurate count of the number of visitors in your party

Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable group tour deposit is due within 72 hours of scheduling your visit at The Wright. All payments are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. 

The Wright accepts major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

The museum also accepts checks or money orders made payable to CHWMAAH.

Photography Policy

Photography in museum exhibition spaces is strictly prohibited.

How soon should I schedule a group visit?

Reservations must be confirmed 2 weeks in advance. 

How long is the average visit?

2 and ½ hours.

 What happens if I arrive late? 

Late arrivals more than 15 minutes after their scheduled time are subject to cancellation or may experience delays.

Do I have to have a guided tour? 

Groups of more than 25 people require a guide. We welcome self-guided tours.

Who do I contact to reschedule or cancel your reservation?

Please contact tour@thewright.org as soon as possible so that we can accommodate your reservation changes.

What can I bring into the Museum?

No luggage or backpacks of any type or size or backpack-style child carriers are allowed in the museum.

Are there rules we need to follow?

Please respect and adhere to these guidelines while doing so to keep the collection safe for generations to come: 

  • Do not touch the artwork, frames, cases, mounts, or platforms.
  • Do not sit, stand, lean or place any object on cases, sculptures, barriers, platforms, or walls.
  • Remain at least 18 inches away from all artworks. Please do not gesture within 18 inches of any artwork.
  • Do not cross stanchions, barriers, or platforms.
  • Chaperones are always required with 10 students at all times, while visiting.
Can we have lunch? 

The museum does not have a formal restaurant. Space may be available if reserved 2 weeks prior to visiting.

Is there a parking discount?

No, there is no parking discount.
