Second Sundays at The Wright - December

Sunday, December 10 | 12:30 PM & 2:30 PM

Please join us on December 10, 2023, for our Second Sunday Programming Series in conjunction with the current d.Tree (Detroit Trees) exhibition. Led by our Research and Design Specialist, Ackeem Salmon, our workshop, titled "Storytelling through Recycled Materials," is open to children, teens, adults, and families.

Participants will learn how to use recycled materials as a medium for artistic expression, transforming often-discarded items into powerful symbols that mirror the resilience and beauty inherent in both nature and culture. Whether you're an experienced artist or new to creativity, secure your spot for a day of exploration and collective expression, connecting with Detroit's cultural and environmental legacy. There will be two sessions, each with 25 spots available.
