Parking at African World Festival

Parking Options at African World Festival*

Bike Valet
The Wright offers free Bike Valet service all weekend. And, to celebrate 40 years of African World Festival, the first 40 bikers each day will get FREE entry!

QLine Park & Ride
The Wright has partnered with the QLine's Park & Ride Program. For $5 a day, the general public can park at Wayne State's Lot 12 all weekend on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Entry to the lot is available off of Harper.

The QLINE’s Amsterdam station on Woodward is a one-minute walk from the lot.

QLINE is a free streetcar system running along Woodward Avenue from Congress St. in Downtown Detroit to Grand Boulevard in New Center and North End. QLINE runs Monday-Saturday 8 am - midnight and Sunday 8 am - 9 pm.

Parkopedia
Use the Parkopedia parking assistant via the mobile app or website www.parkopedia.com.  Enter One Hart Plaza in the "Where are You Going" box to find all the parking garage options in the area for rates of $5.00 and up. You can even reserve your parking spot at some locations.

* Note: The Wright Museum offers these suggestions to support attendees.  Except for the Bike Valet, we do not directly manage any parking solutions.
