Camp Africa 2022
The Wright’s signature summer camp begins on July 5th. This year’s theme, “Secrets of the Pharaoh,” will focus on the life and times of the pharaoh Tutankhamun (King Tut) and some of the many ancient innovations within the fields known as S.T.E.A.M: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics that came from Egypt.
Each week, we will highlight King Tut’s reign, as well as ruled as well as how the ancient Egyptians lived. Participants will watch exciting videos of discovery, take part in short talks and workshops, and get to do real experiments, participate in craft-making, and explore the Wright Museum’s exhibition of King Tut!
Camp Africa will take place on-site for 5 days, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
