Drive Up will be Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 12 to 4 in front of The Wright Museum at the Warren Ave Circle. All participants in the Birthday Drive-Up will receive the following:

About Dr. Wright
Dr. Charles H. Wright (September 20, 1918 – March 7, 2002) was an obstetrician-gynecologist, civil rights leader, institution builder, philanthropist, author, a loving husband and father.
During his medical practice years, Dr. Wright led the struggle for the integration of the labor and delivery suites at Detroit Women's Hospital. Dr. Wright was the first Black doctor to deliver patients at the Detroit Women's Hospital. Dr. Wright’s commitment to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and other initiatives earned him the title of “Father of the National Movement to Establish African American Museums."
