Young Women Leaders of Detroit: Part 1

Geared toward girls and young women ages 16 - 24, this program highlights young women in Detroit who are shining a light through their work, their voice, their faith, and their service. Award-winning poet Ife Martin joins Wright Museum storyteller Mama Jatu Gray in conversation for part one of this program.

Free and open to the public, registration is not required for viewing.

About Ife Martin

West Bloomfield High School student and poet Ife Martin recently received the 2021 National YoungArts Foundation award. Martin is among 659 young visual, literary, and performing artists from across the country selected through YoungArts’ annual competition. Ife Martin presented a selection of her poetry for MLK Day 2021.
