Sunday, March 29, 2020 | 3:00 PM
Fashion designer Tracy Reese poses

QUEEN Voices is an engaging lecture series featuring dynamic women in conjunction with the exhibition QUEEN: From the Collection of CCH Pounder. This lecture series is important because it reinforces the themes of QUEEN: powerful women of the African diaspora, diverse feminism, Afrofuturism, and beauty. The entire series will be moderated by Roslyn Karamoko, founder and CEO of Détroit Is The New Black.

The QUEEN Voices lecture series will conclude with an address from Tracy Reese, celebrated fashion designer. From Academy Award winning actress Regina King to former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, Reese has designed for the who's-who of the American celebrity circuit. Reese will discuss her background, inspiration, and process at this dynamic lecture event. Be sure to join us!
