Black Action Figures: IT Figures - Adversity and Overcoming

Wednesdays, starting March 31 | 4:00 PM

Over the course of six (6) virtual workshops, participants will view a museum-like gallery of action figures and through discussion and self-reflection exercises, explore the concept of adversity and how superpowers can be applied to persevere to achieve success!

Utilizing their imagination, participants will design and build a new component of a SMART City/Community during each workshop.

The purpose of IT Figures Programs and Exhibit is to inspire and empower youth by utilizing action figures, sharing stories of influential minorities who leveraged their strengths and persevered through adversity to achieve success to become the heroes of their own story.
