About the Women’s Committee
The Women's Committee is an auxiliary group of museum members who came together over 20 years ago, with Dr. Roberta H. Wright the wife of the museum’s founder as a charter member, to create fundraising events in support of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Their activities include but are not limited to, Grandparent's Day, Noel Night (Vendors and Santa Claus), and the Roberta Hughes Wright Memorial Golf Classic.
